The Impreza 22B is the most limited special edition Impreza to date, having only 400 in the world with 16 in the United Kingdom; having an obvious name the 22B Type UK.
The 22B is the closest relative to the Mitsubishi Evo6 GSR but the only real difference is the body shape.
You can distinguish the 22B from any other regular or other special edition Impreza by looking at the huge air intakes and scoops, the all-around the body spoilers and massively sexy flared wheel-arches and not forgetting the 22B-only metallic '555 Sonic Blue'.

This car was really made for raw thrills and for the people who could afford the asking price of around £40k, but it has that special touch of 17" gold alloy wheels, vented discs which could stop you on a six-pence, and the amazingly involving handling which was said to be the best special edition Impreza ever! This car doesn't only have this lot but it was made to be a replica of the WRC with power to match (280bhp that is). This was one of the most perfect cars of 1998.
